Consumers are becoming more aware of what they are buying and also take more care to protect their environment. Since the beginning of 2015 we are SKAL certified. This means that we are allowed to trade organic seeds and process them in our products. For this we are under the control of the following authority: Skal, Bio control.

The global waste gets bigger and bigger. That is why Corthogreen B.V. thinks it is important that their products are as biodegradable as possible. Our growth paper (seed paper) and seed ribbons are 100% biodegradable. This is also an important aspect when developing new products. For example, the development of grow sets with biodegradable pots. We want to reduce the use of plastic so we use as many recyclable packaging materials as possible. All products can be found in the product category ‘zero waste’.
We believe it is important to be socially involved as a company. Corthogreen does a lot of work mechanically, but a large part has to be done manually. For this we started our own packaging company in 2016 (Hupackso B.V.). Within this packaging company, employees who have a distance to the labour market work here. Thanks to the pleasant working atmosphere, the employees can function properly and all products are carefully packaged on our supervision.
